Frequently asked questions
Is the workshop suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. We start with short water-and-colour exercises on practice paper before moving on to the main subject.
What is the difference between classical watercolour and watercolour sketching?
In classical watercolour, the painting is built purely with colour and water; in watercolour sketching, a lively pencil or waterproof fineliner drawing holds the structure and loose watercolour washes bring it to life.
Can I also practise watercolour regularly?
Yes — you can paint in watercolour every week as part of our Drawing & painting for adults course (trial lesson €20).
What should I bring?
Nothing at all — watercolour paper, paints, brushes and fineliners are all ready for you at the studio.
Want to paint in watercolour every week?
In our adult painting course, you can explore watercolour at your own pace — a trial lesson costs €20.
