1. In short
The websites artizo.sk and artizokids.sk use no cookies and no tools that track visitors. They store just one thing in your browser: the language you chose. That is why you won’t see a cookie consent banner on them.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Other technologies work in a similar way: browser storage (localStorage), measuring scripts, pixels, and content embedded from other websites, such as maps, videos or social media posts.
3. When consent is needed
Under § 109(8) of the Electronic Communications Act No. 452/2021 Coll. (zákon č. 452/2021 Z. z. o elektronických komunikáciách), a website may store information on your device, or read it from there, without your consent only where this is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. Everything else needs your prior consent.

Only the language code is stored — nothing else.
5. What we don’t use
- No analytics or advertising cookies, no pixels (such as the Meta pixel) and no tools like Google Analytics or Google Ads.
- No content embedded from other websites: no maps, videos or social media posts. Links to them open a third-party site only when you click, and that site’s own rules then apply.
- Our fonts are stored on our own server; we don’t load them from Google.
- The WhatsApp, phone and email buttons are plain links and store nothing. When you click one, we record only which button it was, on which page and when — with no personal data, and without storing anything in your browser.
- We know our visitor numbers only from aggregate figures that Cloudflare counts on its servers, with no cookies and no measuring script in your browser.
6. Why there is no consent banner, and when there would be one
A consent banner is needed on a website that uses something that is not strictly necessary. Our websites use nothing of the kind. If we ever change this — for example by adding visitor measurement in the browser or advertising tools — we will ask for your consent first:
- the banner will have equal buttons “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”;
- closing the banner will mean you agree only to what is strictly necessary;
- nothing will be pre-ticked, and you will be able to choose by category;
- we will remember your choice for 12 months, and you can change it at any time through a link in the footer;
- we will update this policy beforehand.
7. How to delete the stored language
In your browser settings, delete the site data (cookies and site data) for artizo.sk or artizokids.sk. You can then choose your language again.

9. Changes
Every version of this policy is dated. If we were to start using anything that needs consent, we would ask you for it before switching it on.
